Kruger National Park:
Impala Place is ideally situated to explore the game-rich southern areas of the Kruger National Park.  The Crocodile bridge entrance gate is 18km away, and the Malelane entrance gate is 42km away.  Day trips can be very rewarding and seeing the Big Five in one day is probably easier here than anywhere else in Kruger

Mozambique:
Maputo is just over an hour away, depending on how busy the border crossing is.  It is well worth a visit to buy curios, experience the bustling atmosphere, enjoy Portuguese cuisine or buy fresh seafood at the fish market.

Swaziland:
Pigg's Peak Casino is a mere 120km away, and Mbabane a further 70km.  A visit to the glass factory or the candle factory or carpet weavers is well worth the effort.

Golf:
There are a number of golf courses in the vicinity.  Komatipoort has a nice 9-hole course while Malelane offers and excellent 9-hole course and a clubhouse with an enormous bar.  Leopard Creek is one of South Africa's top courses, and is very challenging.  (Entry conditions might apply)  Skukuza's golf course is unique because of the wild encounters you can expect!

Fishing:
Catching a tigerfish at Komatipoort is probably one of the best fishing experiences you can expect in the Lowveld, more so if it is done with flyfishing tackle.

Other Sports:
Marloth Park also has a big swimming pool and tennis courts available.
