The game-rich southern areas of the world-renowned Kruger National Park is a half hour's drive away. For golfers there are courses at Malelane, Komatipoort and Leopard's Creek while a round at Skukuza in Kruger is sure to be memorable. Day-trips to Maputo in Mozambique (an hour’s drive away) or to Swaziland's tourist attractions are added attractions.

At dawn the hot sun rises over this corner of Africa to a cacophony of sounds.
By midday the sun is blazing high in the sky and all is quiet.
By evening a chorus of crickets abound interspersed with the shrill croaking of a frog by the pool.
The sky is full of diamonds sparkling through the trees.
A cool breeze fans the fire as we sit around chatting.
Suddenly all was calm and peaceful.
